Take a brief to grasp the production team’s needs and specifications
Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
Use computer editing software programs, digital video effects programs and other tools to piece together film components
Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video recording and editing
Follow the company’s brand guidelines
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
Create rough and final cuts
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process

Bachelor's degree in film editing or related degree is required
Creative experience in videography & editing
Proficient in creating concept boards and other visual representations of planned edits for video projects
Experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop)
Good logical reasoning skills
Capability to handle pressure and sustain under challenging times
